Rohan Murray brings to the MICMC Board extensive experience in law, governance and the performing arts. As Director of AP Legal, he advises individuals, businesses and organisations across a broad range of legal matters, including commercial law, governance, trusts and estates. His legal career brings valuable expertise in strategic thinking, risk management and sound decision-making.

Alongside his legal practice, Rohan is an accomplished concert pianist and a partner in Team of Pianists. He completed the first performance-based PhD in Music at the Victorian College of the Arts, with research focused on Australian contemporary piano music, and has given numerous world premiere performances while championing Australian composers throughout his career. Drawing on his experience as both a practising lawyer and professional musician, he brings to the MICMC Board a unique understanding of the artistic, legal and organisational challenges facing Australia’s chamber music sector.
